HAPPY 22ND BDAY TO ME!

I wanted to eat crabs! craving for crabs n more crabs! so this will be my bday dish! hahaa. so dearx when to research for singapore's popular crabs stations and found this. Eng Seng Restuarant. aiya forgot to take pic of the zhao pai. its not a restuarant..but just an old zi char stall in a coffeeshop near eunos. lao zhao pai kind ba. n indeed no disappointment!! their speciality is their black pepper crabs. and since we have nv tried good black pepper crabs, this sounds a gd choice. when we reached there ard 3-4pm, the coffeeshop was empty. n we felt totally weird. "is this the right place?" "have they started their biz?" anyway, they asked us to take a seat and asked for our orders. no menu. so we told her what we wanted n she quoted us the price. hmmm quite cheap! $46+ for 2 crabs! but quite small ones.. so while waiting we had our all time fav sambal kangkong..

omg they are not stingy with the pepper black sauce. AUTHENTIC! very satisfying taste! but becoz of the not-so-big crabs..our stomach dont seem satisfied..we want more! so next stop shall be..No Sign Board! =D very looking forward! hehee.

n here comes the surprise!!
the dunno want to be happy or sad surprise. hahaa!

as u all know..liverpool is dearx fav football club! n its been a long time since i gave him a surprise le. i really wanted to surprise him..a real surprise gift. n finally i had a chance! liverpool's coming to spore! tickets to be sold! so w/o hesitation..i decided to get 2 tickets. found out frm Addidas stores that East stand tickets were all sold out. left with north n south. and there is a very low chance for the grandstand tickets le. at tt moment infront the counter, my mind says north south also ok wad! better than nth. but my heart says no! must get the best ones..coz its a surprise for him.. i wanted it to be perfect. so i left the store..lost. n finally when i called the main office to ask, they said grandstand tickets are still available. i planned to go down on thurs to get them. thurs morning..b4 i went down i browsed thru the website again.. then wow! a gdnews for me! they updated and said a new batch of tickets for grandstand came in becoz of the heavy demand. so damn happy! cfm can get them le! i took a train to tanjong pagar. not sure where's stanley street so i hop in a cab.

me: 9 stanley street..
taxi driver: stanley street.. u just walk straight cross the traffic light turn right can liao..
me: orh so near only ar.. okok..
taxi driver: ya.. very near only..5mins walk.. ok?
me: okok thksthks..

LOL. so paiseh!

ok after all this..i was so so so happy cant wait to surprise dearx with the tickets.
of course..i DID tot of dearx surprising me with this too. few weeks ago i asked dearx if he will be getting me other presents besides a laptop, he says no. so i took the risk..a big risk and go ahead with my plans. and indeed lor! we tot alike..we really tot alike.. n tt made me..

and dearx got the east stand tickets! i tot it was all sold out?? then we were in dilemma..which shld we give up. finally we decided for east stand since its the one we wanted frm the start. plus got scarf! hahaa.

so now..trying to sell off our grandstand red tickets..
wish us luck that we can sell them off!
